Hurricane Harvey Relief

We are amazed at the amount of people calling and asking how they can help. We have already been able to financially assist many of you who decided on your own to GO! We are proud to be called your church family.

If you want to donate items, don’t forget that many evacuees are here in Cleburne so we encourage you to donate items to local charities who are looking out for these people. Operation Blessing is one of the local missions our church promotes and sponsors, and we know they have specific needs to address those impacted. Make sure you call first to see what specific items are needed most.

If you are able, the easiest and most effective contribution is money. 100% of your cash donation will be used to help relief efforts now and in the future. We are in the loop on what is needed locally and in Houston through our local missions and AOI Church network. We also have members actively assisting. A cash donation allows us to help with a specific need quickly. You can donate via our page by selecting the Harvey Relief fund.

Keep in mind that the need will be ongoing for a while. We are already partnering with our community to formulate an ongoing relief effort that will be coordinated through the city offices. Cleburne will adopt a city in the Houston area and focus efforts there. More information is to come soon.

Thank you and God bless your generous heart. Continue to lift up all those affected by this disaster.

We want to give First Responders and rescue crews ample time to deal with the immediate distress and then organize a rebuild/clean-up team. Our hope is to send anyone who is willing to help with these efforts the weekend before Thanksgiving. We will be in communication with the local churches there in order to be as effective in our service as possible. If you are interested in going, please contact us here. We would like to send crews down with:

Skid Loaders

Dump Trailers

Chain Saws

Building materials

Tools and other resources.

Please visit our social media pages and revisit this webpage for more info as it develops. Thank you all for your willingness to be a part. Pray for our brothers and sisters in Houston as they are still in the fight.
